Product Details and Benefits

Eco Green Living Reusable Bamboo Kitchen Towels are strong, highly absorbent, and built for repeated washing as a lasting certified replacement for single-use paper towels that handles spills, surfaces, and general kitchen tasks just as effectively. Made from 85% FSC-certified bamboo fibre blended with 15% PET for durability and certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 which independently tests for pesticide residues, heavy metals, and harmful dyes. With FSC-certified sourcing and recyclable cardboard packaging with no plastic wrapping, they are a practical independently certified switch for any household or retailer committed to reducing everyday single-use waste.

Dimensions & Quantity

Roll size: 8cm (W) × 8cm (D) × 28cm (H), 240g
Units per case: 12 rolls
Composition: Bamboo fibre 85%, PET 15%
Shelf life: 1,095 days (3 years)

How it works

Unroll the number of sheets you need and use just like a conventional kitchen towel — for wiping surfaces, mopping up spills, cleaning glass, or dusting. Once used, if lightly soiled, simply rinse the sheet under the tap and hang to dry for reuse. For a more thorough clean, place used sheets in the washing machine. The towels are designed to withstand repeated washing while maintaining their absorbency and strength. Once they've reached the end of their life, dispose of in general waste or compost where facilities accept natural fibres.

Eco Credentials and Disposable guide

Made from fast-growing, renewable bamboo fibre — one of the most sustainable natural materials available, requiring no pesticides and far less water than cotton. Independently certified for safety and responsible sourcing:

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 – Tested and certified free from harmful substances
FSC® Certified – Bamboo sourced from responsibly managed forests
Vegan and suitable for all diets
Plastic-free packaging throughout

Disposal: At end of life, the bamboo fibre content (85%) can be composted or disposed of in general waste. The recyclable cardboard packaging can be flattened and placed in your paper/card recycling.

Your Questions, Answered.

How long do your products take to break down?

Breakdown times depend on the environment. In a standard home garden compost heap, our bags typically degrade within 6–12 months. In industrial composting facilities where heat is controlled, they are designed to disintegrate completely within 12 weeks. Our materials are also certified to return to nature within 2 years in marine environments without leaving harmful residues.

What is the difference between "Biodegradable" and "Compostable"?

"Biodegradable" is a broad term that lacks a specific timeframe and can leave behind micro-residues. "Compostable" (specifically our TÜV OK Compost Home certification) is a strict standard. It verifies that our products will break down into non-toxic CO2, water, and minerals within a set period, ensuring the resulting soil is safe for growing plants.

Is the corn starch used in your bags GMO-free?

Yes, transparency is our priority. All plant-based starches used in our certified compostable bags are 100% GMO-free. Furthermore, our compostable cling wrap is formulated without any corn starch at all, instead utilizing a specialized plant-based blend for superior stretch and performance to serve as a high-quality alternative to conventional plastic.

Are your delivery methods and packaging sustainable?

Every order is shipped in either plant-based compostable bags or recyclable cardboard boxes secured with Kraft paper tape. Through our partnership with Cotswold Fayre, we provide carbon neutral delivery as standard on every shipment. This ensures your essentials reach you via logistics partners dedicated to minimizing their environmental footprint.
