Product Details and Benefits

Eco Green Living's 8L Compostable Drawstring Bin Bags are a compact, plastic-free solution for smaller bins around the home or office. Certified compostable to EN13432 standards and made from renewable, plant-based materials, they're perfect for bathroom, bedroom, office, or food caddy bins. Free from microplastics, synthetic residues, and BPA, the bags break down in 8–12 weeks under composting conditions (tie excluded). The convenient drawstring closure keeps things clean and hygienic, and with 25 bags per pack they're an easy, everyday eco swap for smaller spaces.

Dimensions & Quantity

Pack contains: 25 bags per pack
Units per case: 16 packs
Bag capacity: 8 litres
Pack size: 7cm (H) × 1.6cm (W) × 7cm (D), approx. 390g
Shelf life: 425 days from production

How it works

Take a bag from the pack and open it out fully before placing it into your 8L bin. The bag is designed to sit neatly in small bathroom, bedroom, office, or food caddy bins. Once full, pull both drawstrings upward to cinch the top closed, tie them together securely, then lift and dispose of in your general waste bin. Where your local authority accepts certified compostable bags in their food waste or green waste collection, these can also be composted industrially (excluding the drawstring tie).

Eco Credentials and Disposal Guide

Made from plant-based materials, PBAT (64%), corn starch (25%), and PLA (5%), with no microplastics, no synthetic plastics, and no BPA. Certified across international compostability standards:

ASTM D6400 / Din Certco (7P0937), Industrially compostable (valid to Dec 2026)
Australia AS5810 (ABAP10059), Industrial compostable (valid to Aug 2025)
Suitable for home composting (excluding the drawstring tie), breaks down within 8 to 12 weeks

Disposal: Place in your general waste bin or, where your local authority accepts it, in an industrial composting collection. Remove the drawstring tie if home composting. The recyclable cardboard packaging can be flattened and placed in your paper/card recycling.

3 Pack of Reusable Bamboo Kitchen Towels
Clarissa Buehler
Absolutely amazing

These bamboo kitchen towels are absolutely amazing. I was a bit doubtful at first whether they would work (and would actually be reusable), but they are just perfect. They soak up any spillage really well, and easily wipe any kitchen surface dry. They are basically like a cloth, but lighter and easier to handle. I use them for most of my cleaning now.
To wash them, I just put them in the washing machine alongside my normal laundry. I bought a pack several months ago, and they are still going strong, with no sign of needing any replacement. This has saved me so much money, as I haven't had to buy any normal kitchen towels any more (which afterwards just go to waste).

Great range or products and value for money. I particularly like the freezer bags and parchment paper. Will definitely bully again.

The cling wrap is incredible, saves me a mental breakdown each time!!

Each segment is what seems to be made like sheets so there’s no way of loosing where you are as it tears in a straight line. Saves me the time of fiddling around trying to find the edge. Which normally means I’m having to get a knife out and fight myself back into the cling wrap.

Trying out a few products to see if the simple swaps are worth while. Making sure the quality is there which oh my goodness is! I couldn’t think of now buying bin liners, foil and cling wrap.

I’m excited to try the other products they have in the online store as the quality, the ethos and being eco friendly is a massive hit for our household.

60L Compostable Waste Bags | 1 Roll of 10 Bags | Eco Green Living
Amy
These bin bags are insane.

When I first saw Eco Green living products, I thought amazing there’s some products out there that are eco friendly for some of the worst products you can have that will affect the eco system. But I was worried about the quality of the product because of it being eco friendly .. but was I wrong! Yes I was.

You know the standard bin bags you have that are thin, flimsy and break as soon as you put anything in them. Lifting them out and there’s holes in which tend to spill bin juices everywhere before taking them outside.

Well these are just incredible!

They have some sort of stretch to the product. Perfect for holding all the items you tend to put in the bin together.

I would love to see the product in different colours in the future but for now, I’m so happy with my bright green eco friendly waste bags.

I also must add that these waste bags are higher quality
Joseph Joseph bags.

A must buy!
