Compostable cling film has a reputation for being flimsy. Ours isn't. It's the same catering grade film used in professional kitchens, in a 200 metre roll built for a normal household to get through in months, not weeks.

The one thing to know before you use it

Don't put it in the microwave. That applies to any cling film, not just ours, but it's worth saying plainly. Use it for wrapping, covering and freezing, not for microwave cooking.

Catering film is built to cling properly, cut cleanly and hold up under fridge and freezer conditions all day, every day, in a working kitchen. That's a higher bar than most household cling film needs to clear, which is why it performs so well once it's in your kitchen instead.

The film itself is certified compostable to EN13432 and carries the TUV Austria OK compost mark for both home and industrial composting. Check your local council guidance for how compostable film is accepted in your area, since rules vary by council.
