Eco Green Living is a BCorp certified, female founded family business. We exist to make genuinely sustainable household products that perform. Every claim we make is verified. Every supplier we work with must share our values.

This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the standards we require from all suppliers and partners. It covers ethical trading, environmental responsibility, product safety, transparency and continuous improvement.

1. Who This Applies To

This Code applies to all direct suppliers, manufacturers, and material providers who supply goods or services to Eco Green Living Ltd. By supplying us, you agree to uphold the standards set out in this document.

2. Ethical Trading & Labour Standards

We require all suppliers to uphold the following as a minimum:

No forced, bonded or compulsory labour of any kind

No child labour. Workers must be of legal working age in their country of operation

Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining

Fair wages that meet or exceed the legal minimum in the country of operation

Safe, clean and humane working conditions

No discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability or any other protected characteristic

       Clear and transparent employment contracts

We support and expect alignment with the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code.

Eco Green Living holds BCorp certification and our suppliers must demonstrate genuine environmental responsibility:

Suppliers must hold ISO 14001 environmental management certification or equivalent

All relevant environmental permits and licences must be current and compliant

Suppliers must actively work to reduce energy use, water consumption and waste

No illegal disposal of waste, chemicals or hazardous materials

Where products carry compostability or sustainability certifications, the full supply chain must support those claims

Subcontracting is only permitted with prior written approval from Eco Green Living

Suppliers must be able to provide full traceability of their supply chain on request

We reserve the right to conduct audits, either directly or through a third party, at any time with reasonable notice

Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption or any form of improper financial inducement

Compliance with all applicable anti-corruption legislation including the UK Bribery Act 2010

Accurate and transparent record keeping at all times

Share their sustainability goals and progress with Eco Green Living annually

Engage constructively with any corrective action requests

We will work collaboratively with suppliers who are committed to improvement. Suppliers who are unwilling to engage or who breach this Code may be delisted.
